Landing Page Design Personal Project Overview
Client: Fox River
Landing Page: 100th Anniversary Rockford Red Heel Sock Monkey
Purpose: To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Rockford Red Heel sock monkey, Fox River is launching a new landing page dedicated to this iconic American toy. The page will feature information about the history of the sock monkey, as well as a variety of products for sale, including exclusive anniversary edition sock monkeys.
Design: The landing page is designed with a retro cartoon theme, inspired by the classic illustrations & animations from the 1920s. The site uses a bright & colorful palette, keeping on brand with the most familiar version of the Rockford Red Heel sock monkey's colors.
Illustrations: The page features a variety of custom illustrations drawn in a retro cartoon style. The illustrations are used throughout the homepage, starting with the hero image as well as thumbnails & extra elements throughout the page.
Typography: The website uses a variety of fun & playful fonts, inspired by the retro cartoon theme. The fonts are used in the hero image, headings & body text.
Overall, the website is designed to be fun, informative, & visually appealing. I believe that the retro cartoon theme is the perfect way to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Rockford Red Heel sock monkey. It is a fun & playful theme that will appeal to fans of all ages.
